3G iPhone Is Coming in June, Not May

Get ready, get set — my reliable inside source has just informed me that Apple's 3G iPhone will most likely be announced on June 9, by the super stylin' Steve Jobs at the WWDC.

Because of the recent dwindling of iPhone stock, rumors have been circulating that Apple would be making its 3G announcement in May instead of June. It is also predicted that Apple will be dropping the 8GB iPhone and instead offer only the 16GB and 32GB models. Although iPhone stock is running dry, my tipster also confirmed that AT&T staffers were indeed warned that any vacation time during June is a no go — Hello?! iPhone mania part two!

I'm so ready for a new iPhone with a bigger capacity and 3G. I would love it if they brought in the ability to take small video clips. Oh, and how about maybe allowing us to do mms messaging? I really don't understand why there's no mms. I would imagine a software update could fix that though. You've got a great source Geek, just don't go get yourself shut down like thinksecret.com did :-(

On the news in my town they said that it would drop to $199.00 for an 8gb. If that is the case then I'll sell mine and buy the new one. Either way I love the iphone.

I guess this isn't official, but they were saying a few weeks ago that the 3g iPhone would be $200 with a new At&t contract. Because right now, you do not have to buy at&t service with your iphone.
