On Tuesday, Aug. 25, Sony is having a big press conference with the company's Reader team in NYC, which makes us think something special is going to be unveiled.
Maybe its next latest and greatest eBook reader, which is a step up from the PRS-505 Digital Book? Any guesses as to what the company may be announcing? Or anything you hope it'll be adding to its product list?

Wow, am I ever out of the loop! The last Reader model I heard about was the PRS-700, which has apparently been discontinued. (I still have my beloved PRS-505!) I really hope they're unveiling a wireless-enabled device to compete with the Kindle. I love the Sony Readers and, if I'm not impressed with their press conference, I'll probably be upgrading to the PRS-600.
1If they come out with a wireless I will definitely put my red PRS-505 on the auction block.
2They've emailed PRS owners about
3"eBook Library Software compatible with Mac OS X operating systems will be available by the end of Summer 2009 for download to your computer to enable you to purchase, organize and download content to your PRS505 and PRS700"
so I hope this is at least one thing they will announce.
