Since most of you are like me and have swapped your old manual film cameras for digital cameras, I'm wondering if you've also swapped traditional picture developing for digital photo frames? I recently tried out Samsung's new digital photo frame- the SPF-72H, and was quite pleased with its overall performance. This 7 Inch high resolution frame has a sleek design and comes with a 90 degree rotating stand so you can have your pictures horizontal or vertical. To quickly upload pictures without having to use a computer, you can pop your camera's SD/MMC card or a USB memory stick into the back of the frame and copy your JPEG images directly onto it- or you can do the standard upload via your computer with the included USB cable. User-friendly directional and navigational buttons on the side of the frame guide you through photo preferences like slide show rotation with various effects. If you don't like the way your pictures are displayed, you can choose from options like original, fit to screen and fit to width (something I should have done for the image above)! Other great features include 128MB of built-in memory and a programmable clock with a timer that will turn the frame on or off at certain times. Unfortunately this frame only comes with Windows Vista support. Priced at $156.

A digital photo frame is on the very top of my wish list. Thanks for the review - I may look at getting this one.
1although, upon closer examination, this one does look a bit like a TV.
2I think it's quite fun looking and the finish would look great with my decor!
3I can't believe I don't own a digital frame yet. I really like this one, except for the logo front and center. It's not a TV, and all I want to see is my pictures. The logo should be on the back.
4I would love this for my desk or as a gift for Gramma and Grampa. It would be cool way to showcase pics of the kids and family since I have an aversion to photo albums.
5While I think it's too pricey for something that I'm not sure how often I would use, I do see how it's good for other people. I'm sure my Grandmother would love it and I recently attended a funeral that had several positioned around the service showing photos of the departed. It was very tasteful.
6I would recommend much better quality, much better design and much better company
PHILIPS photo frame...
I don't understand Samsung and other Korean companies...
Not so good quality and usually not so well designed... What sales it? Price?

7I have yet to buy a digital frame. I have every other gadget known to man but no frame. I think I will put it (not this one with its giant logo) on my wish list for as a must have this year!
8i don't understand the purpose of these as i don't need another electronic device on all the time, but i do like that this isn't black or grey like many others.
9Macgirl, I think this would match our Apple-taste in design
Reminds me of iMac g4's display, you know so called "the Lamp"

and since I have it, I can tell you that it really has great brightness, sharpness and wide viewing angel
10the logo is not hot. i can see the point of a digital frame for your desk at work where you have a smaller space, but it's still alittle pricey. i wouldn't invest in one until they became cheaper.
11haha that totally looks like a display on the iMac G4 flat panel (that was its technical Apple name but I like the lamp imac much better
12It can be useful for hotels or some other places where they need to put pictures for advertising, or just to decorate. (in that way you save money in the print) -.^
13Maru, I am not sure if the print is more expensive that electricity that this device would use in 24 hrs of usage
14This things are for tech lovers and there is nothing economic about them.
I totally agree that the huge Samsung logo on the front isn't something to be desired.. it definitely takes away from the beauty of the pictures. The search is now on for one less branded!
15Is there a digital frame that's BIG? I'd like a poster size eventually.
