One of my favorite places to shop for my apartment, Crate and Barrel, has come out with its own charging station — and to my delight, it's both simple and attractive, but at $45, it also doesn't break the bank.
For a charging station that doesn't look like crap, that's definitely a reasonable price, considering some Pottery Barn stations have been known to skyrocket to almost $200!
I like the dark wood exterior and achingly simple design, but it might be too basic for some people. Does it do anything for you?

Definitely love it! There's nothing better than a simple idea -- especially when it's so affordably priced and comes with cash back!

hey geek, on precentral . net there are these little pebble shaped soaps that have the palm pre UI on it, like a design. and they're from etsy. they're also pretty inexpensive!

3I like the way it looks and I've been in need for a charging station...except $45 is still way too much, especially just for a charging station. But C&B *is* sort of expensive in some product areas, particularly when it comes to technology.

6Maybe because I have an iPhone and use that as my phone, music player, and digital camera (albeit it lacks the luxuries of a real digital camera, namely flash), I don't really see the need for a charging station.
7And $45 is still too much for a place to rest your electronics while they're charging... what's wrong with the tabletop?
