You may not like reading TMI on Twitter, but would you read a whole book? San Francisco writer Matt Stewart, aspiring to be published, is trying his hand at using the micro-blogging network to get his book published.
The plan is that he'll tweet 140 characters of his novel, The French Revolution, at a time. Perhaps with enough followers, Stewart will net a deal with a more traditional publisher.
Stewart says that he's calculated his book to last about 3,700 tweets — a tall order for the people who turned to Twitter because of their short attention spans.
So would you read a book on Twitter, or would you just say TL; DR?

ummm...no. just sounds like someone trying to cash in on the current twitter craze.

2Nope. If I want to read a book, I'll go out and buy a BOOK. Terrible use for Twitter.
Just because it's possible to do something doesn't mean that you *should*.
3No, mostly because I hate twitter but I wouldn't read a book about facebook either
4I would so read a story via tweets, but it'd have to be that literally, with real tweets telling a story and me having to fill in the blanks.
5I would be interested in checking it out, but I'm not sure how long I would stick around. I am currently reading Emma on my Blackberry (via Viigo), and it posts a short portion of the story every day, about a 5-minute read. I think if the author posted a bit every 2 hours or so, so you don't get overloaded, it might work.
