Not all of us can be as lucky as the sweet geeky boy who got an iPhone for Christmas. In fact, many of us are going to have to exert some serious effort this week in order to get our hands on one.
While the sweaty shirtless man has been camped out in front of Apple's 5th Avenue store for a couple days now, a crowd has yet to form in front of the downtown San Francisco store, where I plan to line up and try my luck. We've heard all the tips for waiting in line, but will they work?

I'm not buying one, although I do want one. AT&T has poor coverage where I live.
1We are buying ours online.
2I'm waiting until the price goes down!
3I'd get one if I travelled a lot. Since I don't, I'd rather spend time with loved-ones.

6i don't know what such a great deal about iphone....I'd rather have a great mp3, a great camera, a great video player...etc separately than mediocre ones all put into one device.
7The iPhone looks really great, and I absolutely adore all things Apple, but I'm happy with my current cellphone. Maybe someday when this contract is up, but not right now.
8I think it's gorgeous...but I would probably break it within an hour of owning it. So I'll have to stick with my current phone which has so far been able to handle my habit of dropping it...
9don't know if i'm really willing to shell out so much money at this point in my life hehe i'm 19 and need to pay for college!

11I already own a great camera, I have a shuffle iPod and my phone sucks. I cannot wait to get one.
12my best friend wants one.. so i'm trying to get it for her.. i dont have that much money though, so i'm going to keep an eye on ebay and wait for the price to come down from apple and cingular.. if it gets to the point with a rebate, i think i'll jump on it. =)
13I'll give it a year. I bought the RAZR right when it came out, only to discover it was one of the most craptacular phones ever made. I'll learn from my mistake and let everyone else be the guinea pig for the iPhone.

I love that the iPhone is getting good reviews, but I think with some consumer feedback, it could be EVEN BETTER!

21I an buying one but won't be doing any line, I am not that insane, hate lines and be waiting for hours for something uff that's not me, better be patient and get it when available peacefully. I am a gadget person and this I will love it.

23The first-generation iPods had some issues, so I think I'll continue to drool from afar for a few months while they work out the kinks. I'm sure they'll roll out something crazy for the holiday season, then I'm all over it!
24I will probably wait until next year to get an iphone. That is if I decide to get one. The whole touch screen keyboard does not appeal to me.

26ill wait til it arrives here in manila. but am still loving my e61i (nokia) and am currently eyeing the Nokia E90... id love to have the latter.
but of course, iPhone will always be iPhone, there's just something about Apple products
