The last eco laptop bag I ran across certainly had solid commercial aspirations and great form, but Eoin McNally's Packaging for Re-use project offers a more humble approach to protecting your laptop the earth-friendly way. The idea is people should recycle the cardboard that their laptops arrive in by reshaping them it into a protective carrying sleeve. The cardboard casing your computer ships in is treated with natural wax to protect it from spills and as an alternative to the usual polystyrene foam peanuts.

I think it's a good idea.. don't know if I would do it though.
1I'd say I would give it a shot, but I am not very crafty, so I am not sure how it would turn out! Could be a total disaster.
2I like it!
3I mean when I buy my $1500 laptop I want it to be safe and stay safe! And this loks ok.
It's geeky but I like it! I don't mind trying new things :]
4I wouldn't feel safe keeping my laptop in that
.
5I'd like it better if it were better colors.
6i think it's a really good and creative idea.
7i think that is a really interesting idea. =) i would use it.
8haha.. i would USE it.. i'm not sure about the making it part.. lol. it probably would end in disaster.
9This sounds like a great idea, but it doesn't look like it would protect the computer.
10It's a good idea but I don't know if I would use it.
11yeah, i agree with above posters...i think i'd be too lazy to make it but i'd use it.
12I think it´s totally ugly so I won´t use it
13id use it, its a cute way to keep it.
14looks a little strange.
15Humm, makes me think back to when we made bookcovers with brown paper grocery bags, and then would draw all over them.

16No complaints against being eco-friendly, we're all striving for that with the 'going green' and what-not. That said, it's a complete travesty. Tasteless colour and I don't care for the ribbing. Ick.
17geeky but funny
18vERY CUTE!
but practical???
