If you're sick and tired of looking for ways to cut down on your cable clutter, it might be time to flat out embrace it and let it become a constant part of your environment. In an artistic way, of course. The Britta Böhne Cable Carpet creates a groove in the carpet especially for your cables, but it also has an insert that the cable snaps into to hold it in place. It wouldn't be ideal for the extreme gadget lovers who have a bajillion cables to manage, but it is a visually pleasing way to acknowledge the fact that most of us can't live without our cables.

I don't think I want it in my house, but I like the look of it.
I don't really like it. I bet I'd STILL trip on the cables, no matter how jammed into the carpet they are. Plus my dogs would think it was fun to try and pull them up.
I don't know, I don't think it looks very good.
I think this could look cool if you put lots of different cables through it. It might start to look like a modern painting on your floor.
Creative.
this is soooo not esthetically pleasing
Just ... no.
I am cable challenged as it is.
Interesting concept, but aesthetically unappealing, in my view. Maybe if you got the carpet to match, or at least coordinate with, the cables, it could be doable.
The whole point of the rug would be to hide the cables... not point them out. A definite NO!
not bad. i think its better than a rug over a cable as that always makes me trip!
thats a little confusing.
That's cool.. but our cords go around the bottom corners of our house.. like.. around the room..
this is such an awesome idea! if you get bored you can just rearrange the cables and you will never be stuck with the same exact pattern on your rug. plus you could make neat patterns with different colored cords.
