Holy smokes, folks: a laptop bag for $998 before tax (and I thought that $800 Burberry bag was excessive). I don't know if I have ever even seen $998 before tax. But whoever has, I suppose, is in the unique position of being able to purchase one of these delightfully colored ostrich-skin Bodhi Ostrich Laptop Sleeves from Nordstrom (to reiterate, they each cost $998).
Curiously, these sleeves bear a striking resemblance to the $150 Rebbecca Minkoff Virginia Laptop Bag — and I don't know about you, but I'd go Minkoff any day of the week.
