I wasn't born yesterday, so I know what people have hiding in the depths of their iPhones. And especially now with the hot new camera on the iPhone 3GS, it's even more tempting to put your iPhone's camera to good use.
In case your iPhone gets in the wrong hands — first step is using Find My iPhone — you should have the Private Pics app ($2) installed on your phone to prevent prying eyes from seeing your goods.
If you have risque photos of yourself or others on your iPhone, this is one of those safety precaution apps. Maybe mom wants to take your phone for a test drive and all of a sudden starts browsin' your pics — oops! That's when you wish you woulda had Private Pics installed.

It's usually the text messages that are embarrassing when I'm giving iPhone test drives. I don't save saucy pics but if I did this app would rock.The other thing you can do to keep people out of your data (say it was stolen) is set a passcode lock.

2Sure, this is good to have...*if* you have something to worry about. Yet, seeing as how it has become such a problem for some, why do it at all? I know I've certainly got nothing to worry about.
3Wait, they're making you *pay* for a separate app to password protect your photos? That should've really been already-included functionality...
4There is a password protection option for the iPhone. This is just a developer that is taking it one step further. I paid for an app that has two layers of protection for my sensitive client data. Technically my lock password should keep most people out but you never know.
5Try out Picture Safe , it's cheaper and doesn't crash like this one always does!
