The faster I can update my social network statuses, the better, especially for the rapid-fire pace of Twitter. There's already a Firefox download for making Twitter updates from your address bar, but throw the word "fox" into it, and I'm a sucker (case in point).
TwitterFox works seamlessly from your Firefox browser window (and it's only for Firefox, if that wasn't obvious enough) to bring you the up-to-the-minute updates of your friends.
It's a great alternative if you haven't wanted to take the plunge to download a separate app for Twitter like Nambu or TweetDeck.

i loved twitterfox, however i found it was freezing up my ff =( so i am back to tweetdeck.
1I love TwitterFox too. But I'm kinda bummed it doesn't have a ReTweet option like Tweetie.
2I use TwitterFox, and I am in love with it. I'm glad they updated it. And kafarine-tin-tin. If you right-click on the tweet you want to re-tweet, there's an option there. It works perfectly fine.
I use it because it's right there when I'm surfing the internet, and I don't need to go all the way back to the twitter site, because I kept forgetting to do that. If I went to the site, I would do maybe one tweet a week. Now, with TwitterFox, I'm up to at least thirty tweets a day, which is so much better.
Go TwitterFox!
