I love the push notifications. I post videos from my 3GS to Twitter using the Tittelator app on my iPhone. I think some of the other apps are in the process of including this as well.
As far as getting the 3GS I was able to walk right into a Best Buy and get one without a line. You might want to try and call them. The only thing is they are not authorized to do the early upgrade pricing. So unless you qualify to buy one at the $199 or $299 price skip them.
1Who the hell cares about push notifications from an application that requires you to pay $25/year to become a pro member to use it!
Listen up, RTM, i love you to absolute death and pieces but charging that much for an app that would be so useful is absolutely absurd. I just view RTM on my iPhone in Safari. Thankfully the website is soooooooo clean (unlike, other ones i frequently use *coughsugarcough*) that it comes off very usable on the iPhone anyway.
