I'm always on the lookout for new laptop bags, mostly because I find myself toting my laptop with me everywhere I go and don't want to be one of those women with the dorky, black, uber-padded bag that looks like it was gifted to me from a now defunct company. The Vlieger & Vandam Guardian Angel bag has a funky, don't mess with me flare you don't see everyday.

It was also made as a statement against the growing rates of crime and violence in the world. "The idea grew out of the increasing number of stories in the news that focused on lawlessness and antisocial behaviour," says the designer. "People's perceptions and the fear of violence soon grew to be greater than the number of crimes actually committed. As a response, Vlieger & Vandam wanted to give people the impression of feeling secure, arming them with a 'Guardian Angel' handbag." The bags are a tad pricey ($419), but given its name, you won't have to worry about losing it.

A little too expensive for me, but I love them! I think the bags are adorable. The bright colors are great, especially with the contrast of the sorta morbid gun image.
Not my kind of style.
I really dislike the impression of a gun on the front.
I think it's pretty cool, but here in crazy gun hater land I'd just get dirty looks.
Not that anti-gun people are crazy, dear anti-gun people. Just please don't give me dirty looks for having a different opinion than you. Yes, I'm talking to you, Los Angeles.
The irony is that this laptop-bag style is a theft magnet. Its shape makes it very obvious that it contains a computer, and the handheld handles (rather that a shoulder strap) make it easy to snatch.
Huh the gun shape might have the very opposite effect to that intended... I mean .. it could well make some people (and the moset dangerous ones) even more agressive towards oneself!
I think its obvious that a gun ISNT in the bag. I would not want a hand gun pressed so close to my laptop and squeezed into my bag that it makes such an impression to the outsite of the bag.
I do not think that onlookers would get the message. Maybe if there were words accompanying it and the proceeds went towards a charity or something to help victims of crime.
i love that gun impression, i dont own any guns but for some reason they intrigue me, even have tattoo's of them.
i don't like the gun on it and the fabric isn't that nice looking either. i like the colors though.
i'm on the fence on this one.i dont think airport security would let me through.
like the colours, dn't like the gun..
like the colors...HATE the gun...NOT FUNNY or clever!
I guarantee their would be an oblivious onlooker who would freak out because you had a gun.
pink one looks funny with gun
Hmmm.... I sort of like my big black laptop bag. I think it gives me a sleek look... like the matrix.. This bag just creeps me out, and being surrounded by kids, I don't at all appreciate the gun.
haha my friend's gonna love it
I dig the pink bag, the yellow reminds me of hot dogs. I think they could have come up with something more creative than a gun. I mean, c'mon, it's a laptop case.
just because it's art doesn't mean it worth 600 bucks. i just look at the thing and go ew. i don't even think about the "statement" it puts out.
If they weren't so expensive I would totally get one!!
I wish they would have them on sale, I LOVE it, so cute!
