Apparently, no one is immune from today's crappy economy. Not even an online social networking giant like MySpace, who just announced that it would be cutting 30 percent of its US workforce this month in an attempt to get back to their start-up roots. But I can't say that I'm totally surprised that they're downsizing (whether it be for economic reasons or not), since I've been slowly weaning myself off of the site for a while now, and am almost completely Facebook exclusive (although they are looking a little too much like MySpace for my taste these days).
So it got me wondering how the rest of you are feeling about MySpace. Are you totally over it yet, or are you still a MySpace loyalist?

i've realized that i use different networking sites for different reasons. i use facebook to keep up with friends and family, myspace to keep up with bands, and twitter to keep up with companies and organizations
it works pretty well for me :]
1I feel the need to boil my body after using myspace. It's so full of pervs.

2Myspace is dead. I still have it though but its totally boring, its all about facebook these days and you don't have to do the whole profile thing.
3I still go to myspace to check out bands and music, but as far as profiles go, it's about as active as my friendster account.
4Indeed. I deleted my account months ago. I'm still on Facebook though :]
5I'm the same as mcjx3. I use Facebook for socializing, Twitter to follow celebs and industry people. And I recently found OneCubicle, which is for finding jobs and networking with professionals.
6I deleted my account on myspace nearly 3 years ago and I've never wanted to go back.
7I was NEVER into myspace. I only go on there to listen to new bands I've never heard of and tour dates.
8I use it alongside twitter and facebook to keep up with different parts of my family.
9only for bands
10I still have my account and login every once in a while to see if I have any messages, but I haven't written any comments or updated my profile in probably three years.
11i use myspace for it's intended purpose - to connect with musical artists and sample new music. i use facebook to keep in touch with my friends and family. i don't do fan products or "like" artists and stuff. it's just me and the family/friends. i use twitter for my outside interests and use linkedin to network.
12I deleted my MySpace account months ago. I'm on Facebook and Twitter. Although I really don't use Facebook that much either.
13I hate MySpace, it's like society's sewer. I used it for uploading images and sharing with friends because most of them were on MySpace but now they're moving to Facebook so it's fine!
14Pretty much use myspace for bands and the one friend who still hasn't ported to facebook.
15Still use it, but I don't check it as often anymore.
16I have myspace but I never go on it anymore. I stopped updating my profile since September 2008. It's all about Facebook for me. I felt like Myspace was trying to be like facebook with the applications and the "friends" updates.
17i no longer use my personal account anymore. i only go on it for music...
18OVER it!
19My MySpace account still exists, for the sole fact that I don't have access to the email that I signed up for it.
20Everyone I know (that matters, anyway) has migrated to Facebook, so...
*shrug*
Yes. I am SO OVER IT. However, I still check it once in a full moon because some of my friends are STILL on it and do not have a facebook. I know...I can't believe it either. Some of my friends on myspace don't even know what facebook is! Shocker right?!
21I was never into myspace in the first place
