Talk about early adopters! It seems that all of the iPhone 3G S pre-orders have sold out — for launch day, anyway. Those seeking to avoid waiting in line and do it all online (though I have no idea why you'd deprive yourself of the day-long pleasure) can still pre-order, but Apple is saying that the wait may be 7 to 14 days later.
Although I haven't made up my mind about whether I'll be buying a new iPhone again this year, I would totally pre-order if I were. This would be the first time I'd do so — I really can't lose a whole day of my life again and pre-ordering is so convenient. The recently-launched Kindle DX was also available for pre-order, and I know some people had to wait past the first shipping date for it, but it still seems like pre-ordering is worth it.

I'm seriously hoping they email us in batches, although I have a feeling it'll just be a nasty line like it has the past two years. The only difference will be knowing that
there's a phone waiting for me (thus I won't leave the line out of frustration).
3My husband stayed up until 3AM the day the new iPhone was announced so he could be one of the first to pre-order on the AT&T website... crazy! I really hope I get mine on launch day!

6I'm having mine delivered as well - mostly because I know I wouldn't have qualified for the early upgrade fee in person. Also - I didn't want to pay sales tax - sorry Massachusetts budget crunch.

The Wii is the one gadget I'm totally glad I preordered! I managed to get it easily on launch day and didn't have to put up with the difficulties of trying to find one over the next year.

9can't even pre-order 4 full price iphone yet, in Canada have 2 wait til they announced iphone pricing 1st. Good thing I can wait.
