Regardless how you feel about the actual device (even though I know a majority of you are in the market for a new iPhone 3G S), take a gander at these fresh new commercials for the Palm Pre and iPhone 3G S, and let me know which one grabs your attention more. Normally I don't sit on the fence, but with this one, I'm loving the dramatic Buddhist monk Pre commercial, but think Apple nailed it too with their suspenseful Star Trek meets Mission Impossible II-style clip. What do you think?

I'm buying the 3GS, but like the imagery in the pre commercial more. The 3GS ad just seems dumb to me. Neither ad really talks about the capabilities in a substantive way.
1Agreed! The Palm Pre commercial is better, but I'm getting the new iPhone :]
2I liked how simple the 3GS ad is. If I didn't already know the features that were added to the new Iphone I would be inclined to go to the Apple website and look it up. But perhaps I am biased because I am a total apple groupie.
3pre commercial is sweet!
4pre ad and the phone is better than the iphone easily. the fact that the iphone still can't multitask (besides just playing music) is just plain ridiculous.
5i like the serenity in the pre commercial but i like the iphone's commercial overall. ... even though personally, i'm buying the pre.
6though the iphone isn't getting a multi task function I've heard that they will be running "Push Notification" where like an email you get badges on the application button, or a notification sound or a small pop up message like an SMS...

8I love the Pre's commercial . . . very Chinese Olympic Opening Ceremonies. That said, I've already pre-ordered my iPhone.

10I said the iphone one, but I'm biased because that's my friend Ian at the end of the commercial.
11i like both commercials.. however My best friend has the palm pre and i just got the iphone 3gs. Its a thousand times better and more user friendly than the pre. iPhone all the way!
