In photography, the most beautiful images come because the eyeball behind the camera saw something amazing first, and clicked second. This sounds so obvious, but
one of the biggest photography mistakes are photos of jumbly, confusing composition — like the photographer thought it would look cool in a photo, but didn't actually evaluate whether it was actually nice to even look at.
If you're not getting the kind of cool shots you want, put down the camera and really
look at something from all angles. When your eye stops and notices something extraordinary, then shoot.
