Turn Off Your Flash!
Your onboard flash anyway. Using the flash on your camera often causes an unsightly glare on your subject, and it never seems to create the perfect lighting.
It's fine in a pinch, but it's better to purchase a separate flash, and then — never point the flash at your subject, but turn it toward the ceiling to diffuse the light. You can also buy a diffuser for your onboard flash. This makes for gorgeously lit photos.
