Fringe creator J.J. Abrams sure knows how to make a girl totally geek out. I love the show, mostly because it's packed full of sci-fi themes and cool (although sometimes seriously vintage) tech, but also because of Walter Bishop, who never fails to completely steal every scene he's in. Last night's episode was especially entertaining, and I loved the scene that starred Clint Howard (Ron Howard's brother), which took a turn into Trekkie territory.

Is it just me, or is Joshua Jackson's character, Peter Bishop, getting hotter by the day? Maybe it's cause he knows all about Khan . . . or maybe he just knows how to play a hot geek. In any case, are you looking for a connection here? In case you didn't know, J.J. Abrams is not only the creator of Fringe, but is also the mastermind behind the new Star Trek movie, which hits theaters on Friday. Smooth, J.J., real smooth.

i love fringe!! i'm sure all the fans know by now that they will be getting a second season!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1Ha, during that whole scene I was thinking, "nice self-promotion, J.J. Abrams." Funny.
Also, TOTALLY agree about Joshua Jackson. YUM.
2Fabulous... just fabulous.
3I love fringe, I love Star Trek, it just frightened me when that happened, knowing that JJ abrams was behind both things it kind of made me a bit afraid that fringe would come out as some sort of hype up series leading up to the star trek movie, that would have to me ruined everthing because fringe is just so awesome standing on its own that i wouldnt want it to have a plot tie in with something else so widely known for so long. but i doubt thats what will actually happen, it was just something that crossed my mind.
4LoL i was so lost when this happened me and bf were just like they just ....nah they didnt just do the star trek thing?
5I tried to watch Fringe but I just couldn't get into it.
