I heard from Buzz the other day that Clueless might be getting a sequel! Although I'm usually a little wary of "part two's," I couldn't help but remember all the fun I had watching the original flick back in 1995. I mean, for a film in the mid '90s about high school kids, this movie was pretty geeky. It was full of big candy bar cell phones, laptops, and pagers. Yes, pagers. Remember those? I was obsessed with getting one until 1996 just because of it.

I took a trip down memory lane and watched Clueless last night. Even though spotting all the tech throughout the movie was pretty fun, I do have one favorite scene in the movie. I think you know what it is. Check it out in the clip above.

I want a system that does that for dinner so that when by boyfriend wants to have stir fry and a side of potato chips, the computer smokes up and yells 'DOES NOT COMPUTE - DOES NOT COMPUTE.'
1I'd love to have that kind of computer for clothes! And a closet that does that too...hrm. I loved that movie when I was younger too.
2lol jjschiffer!
3Isn't there a website that you can do that with your clothes? But yea, I always wanted that software, which is why I begged my mom to buy me Cosmo Virtual Makeover (which I still have on CD rom for a 16bit color monitor...lol)!
4I find it kinda problematic that anyone thinks it's a good idea to make a sequel of a movie based on a Jane Austen novel when no book sequel exists.
btw, if people were wondering what I am talking about ... it's Jane Austen's EMMA.
5it's so loosely based on Emma that it wouldn't be a problem to simply write up a script based on the characters 15 years later or however long its been
6I'm not saying writing a script is a problem ... but look at the Jurassic Park franchise. IMO they bombed with the third movie based on a book that doesn't exist. It's like someone saying they're going to make a sequel of 10 Things I Hate About You when Taming of the Shrew doesn't have a sequel [and we can't resurrect Heath Ledger].
7wow i had no idea it was based on a jane austen book! i wouldn't mind a sequel... it's an awesome movie and even if it sucked it would be cool to see all the old characters on screen again! but that's just me
8Although I'm in love with Clueless... I don't think it's a good idea to make a sequel. Originals are always the best and sequels are rarely good.
