The more I see fancy laptop bags with extra compartments and crazy prints, the more I tend to prefer a back-to-basics style for myself. I'll continue to look at and love the crazily detailed stuff, but the next bag I buy will probably by something very simple and plain.
The laptop bags from Twelve fit the bill; they're made of heavyweight canvas with cotton webbing handles, and the lines are straight as an arrow with minimal details. Those specs together sound pretty boring, but saving them from that fate is the myriad colors the bags are available in.
