It seems to be a universal truth that dads love geeky gifts - from robots, camcorders, speaker systems to plasma screens - there are very few gadgets that any dad I know would turn down. With Father's Day on the horizon, this is the week to start thinking about what you are getting your dad or father figure. He's probably the person who bought you your first Walkman or Discman afterall.
I'm thinking of getting my dad a set of speakers for his desk, or perhaps even a sleek laptop carrier bag (the one he has right now is so boring and generic). I could of course, be persuaded to get him something more exciting. You can help me by finding great gifts you think your dad would like from all across the web, bookmarking them and tagging your finds with "dad." I made my grandfather a mug at one of those pottery places. It is a football stadium with USC vs UCLA logos. I like USC and he like UCLA. It is a fun thing we have been having for years.

3My dad fixes computers for a living and peeps are always calling him or running into him on weekends and holidays asking about computer stuff. My whole family finds it very disruptive and annoying. So, I'm getting him this shirt from www.thinkgeek.com that says,"NO, I will not fix your computer!". Perfect!
4my dad's not geeky, although he said something about youtube recently and I was floored! so i've framed some pics of his dogs for him!
5While my father is an ubergeek (gee, wonder I get it from?), I am getting him something artsy. It's a jellyfish where the top part is glass and the tentacles are silver. I am still trying to decide what color...

9We're going to a Yankees game at Yankees stadium in New York ON FATHER'S DAY. I'll probably buy him a hat or something there. He's very excited about it, so I am too
I also got him his first cell phone - it's the newest flip-top Samsung with a music player (he's a big music geek) and a 2.0 megapixel camera. It's his first one, and he's pretty excited to start using it.
My dad and I have a deal that I don't have to go all out for every holiday, but when I do something, it better kick ass.
