Excitement is all around in the land of cell phones: Not only are we expecting the birth of the third generation iPhone, but rumor has it that the BlackBerry Storm 2 is on its way as well.
Though many of us early adopters experience the pain of their new device no longer being the newest thing out there, I gotta say, as someone who watches the tech world with an eagle eye, I love to see them coming. Not only does it satisfy my need for gadget eye candy, but it's inspiring to see engineers busily trying to up the technological ante.
Although I'm still not sure if I'll be upgrading my cell phone this Summer (a new thing for me), I'm ready to see what new goodies two of the coolest new cell phones have.
What about you — do the releases for the new iPhone and BlackBerry Storm feel like it's too soon, or perfect timing?

2I wish the iPhone was out now, so not too soon. I really feel like the Storm just came out though.
3on the contrary i think its perfect time for the storm my dad got the first gen one and of course it was going to be glitchy. my 2year with verizon is up in December so i'm excited to be able to get the new storm.
4I just got my iphone 3G b=for my birthday in october and im the kind of girl who has to have all the new gadgets when they come out and this is going to kill me that there is already a new iphone out. gur.
5I don't really care about a new bb storm or ANOTHER iphone. I mean, it's nice to see the choices and the fact that there's some competition and more choices BUT I really really want the palm pre!!
6I might be in the market to upgrade my phone when the iPhone hits stores in June.
7A little too soon for the Storm yet. Maybe when they finally release an official Verizon OS upgrade for the Storm, I'll change my mind. Though if rumors are true and they do implement a qwerty keyboard and wifi on top of their current features, it might definitely be a good thing for alot of people.
8BBerry should've stayed in their niche the storm was a big Fail, buggy OS, UI, on and on.. Its like an apple wanting to taste like an orange..just stay an apple!
9want a sexy, touchscreen phone..get the iphone..want a bb for email, web, some multimedia get the storm or curve..
they are driving me nutz. just when i finally make up my mind as to which phone/service i want to get. they come out with a new phone?
