I am definitely geeky when it comes to working out - whether it's using these tracking devices you mentioned, mapping my runs on google maps or using a GPS to see how far and fast I'm running.

2I like the idea of gmaps pedometer, but I've found that when I try to log my workouts I do it for a week and then just get lazy.
IMHO it makes working out more of a PITA, but I know it motivates lots of people.
