I'm used to seeing cute little robot accessories, and there's even some that are nice enough to wear in public — which this Robo Necklace by Catherine Michiels definitely is. In fact, it's so nice, it's made of 14 karat gold, rubies, and diamonds, which conspire to make the $815 price tag.
I think it's rad that something so geeky is getting the gold treatment, but if you're dropping that kind of coin, would you want something a little more . . . timeless?

1Totally agreed, amlove. That robot looks too creepy to wear, gold or not.
2how do you charge so much and put it on a wack cord chain? that's not cool. but i love the charm.
3Yeah, pretty much just really ugly. I love the idea, but this one is creepy.
4I love that they're starting to make high-end kid-inspired accessories.
5I feel like this is one of those things that is so ugly it is kind of cute.... kind of like a naked mole rat. lol.
