So you may not be overly excited about Facebook's new redesign, but here's some news to get excited about — Facebook now has a private group option for families! What this means is you can start a group that is for family use only — sharing updates, news, photos, etc., — without the information showing up on all of your friends' news streams. But bear in mind, this means that family members who aren't Facebook users will have to sign up, so that could open a whole other can of worms, if ya know what I mean. 1i do know what you mean - i'm not into anything that will promote facebook usage among my aunts, uncles, and grandmother!
2I don't want more relatives knowing what I really do. haha. But the private group ability is nice, and it makes sense that they are appealing to their older users, which is becoming a large percentage of facebook.
