Do you want to follow someone's updates on Twitter, but don't necessarily want them to see that you're following them? Or maybe you're reluctant to join Twitter, but still would like to see what someone is tweeting. You can actually add someone's Twitter feed to your RSS reader.
Just go to the page of the person you want to invisibly follow, and you'll see the RSS feed symbol underneath the people they're following (alternatively, if you're using Firefox, you can just click the blue RSS symbol in the nav bar). Just click that and you'll add their updates to your reader, just like any other blog's posts!
Invisibility cloak achieved.

It's painful to read grammatically challenged writing, especially in headlines. Correct form would be: "without their knowing."
1That's really...stalker-ish. I can see this being grossly misused, and probably some lawsuits in the future!
2Ms. Anonymous needs to be less of a pain in the back and own up to being a stickler for grammar... Who comments that way and is too scared to admit who they are?
3I agree with MargoKhal. This is just one more thing to add to ways to follow people without they knowledge/consent. B/c at least on Twitter you can block people.
4How many people's RSS feeds are you secretly "following,"if you care to share?

5I don't find this stalkerish at all. If you don't want randoms or undesirables following you then you make your twitters private. This is no different than me following anything via RSS.
6I actually thought about this the other day, it's a great solution to stalking isn't it

7I don't know if I would do this because what I like is the interaction of Twitter. I have met some cool people that way. I guess I just don't have someone that I would follow that I wouldn't want them to know that I was following them.
8I just wondering what It's the deal by following some that way,to spy, snoopy eyes poor fellow.without personality .

9Stalkers!
10There are ways to get around the hidden profiles too - I did it when I was making sure my protected updates were protected.
Turns out it's SO EASY to get around the protection (view the .xml file of the twitter page). Nothing is sacred!
11I use this for celebrities who don't follow me back.
