Settling in for the final episode of Battlestar Galactica, I was very sad, yet pretty excited to see how producers Ron Moore and David Eick would wrap everything up.

Although the episode wasn't exactly what I had expected, I felt like the story was complete. I'm actually considering re-watching the entire series to pick up on things I may have missed. What can I say — I'm that kind of geek. Was the final episode everything you were hoping for? Take my recap quiz and then share your thoughts about the series finale in the comments!

I wish this show had kept going, but I was glad to see how they wrapped it up, except for Starbuck being a ghost, or whatever she was.
1I liked it. I know a lot of people think there were a lot of loose ends, but I'm okay with everything, even Starbuck being an angel. I think it was the best ending for such an ambitious show.
2hmmm.... The episode "wrapped" the series in that it didn't leave a lot of loose ends, but it didn't really end up as good as the series started. I felt like the series took a nosedive back when they reached "New Caprica," and never fully recovered. But then, I'm not much of one for caring about getting my philosophy from Hollywood.
Biggest problem I had was the whole "let's all be Amish" bit at the end. For a technologically-based society to walk away from it all (weapons, medicine, entertainment etc...) and decide to live off the land with primitive sticks 'n stones tech sounds like slow suicide to me. Might as well have just stayed on the ships and sailed into the sun...
Could have done without the "be scared of your Roomba" bit at the end too...
