Megan Fox has a sexy little package — in her hand that is. She was spotted toting her black iPhone 3G the other day, even multitasking with her coffee thermos in the same hand as the phone (a balancing act I'm familiar with). The last time we checked in with her, not only did she have a first generation iPhone, but she put that one in a protective case.
Her black 3G, though, isn't getting the same treatment, and though I love the way my sleek phone feels sans case, if I'm walking around — and especially, juggling — I'm scared enough of dropping my phone that I put it in a case. However, pre-smartphone, I never used a case, but that was also when I spent way less moola on my cell phones.
What about you? Do you use a case with your cell phone?

I have a silicon skin for my blackberry, but it's not really a case. I like it because it affords protection and adds a little of my personal style.
2I figure if I'm spending that much money on a phone I don't want it to get wrecked. I don't want my iPhone to get scratched up.

6I wouldn't use my iPhone w/o one, especially since it's the 3G...it's way too slippery and the case has saved it from scratching, dinging, cracking, etc quite a few times.
7At first I hated using a case for my original iPhone, because they are ridiculously expensive, make it difficult to use the dock, and made my iPhone not fit in the bracket I installed in my Jeep. Then I dropped my iPhone one final time and lost about 1/3 of the screen. At the time, I was eligible for the upgrade, so rather than spending $200 fixing the screen, I spent $200 on a new iPhone 3G.
The new one stays in its case. I try to find them on clearance sale.
8I have a silicon skin for my BlackBerry. I like having the extra protection on my phone.

10I have a silicon skin as well for my Pearl, but I took it off for now. Sometimes bits of dust gets caught in the back so I took it off to clean it and just never put it back lol. I'm looking for a clear hard shell for it. Seen 'em online. But for now, it runs around naked .....

Grr!), I'm definitely putting that baby into a case straight away. I ordered the Feather case from Incipio, and that will probably get to me before the actual phone. Lol!
14i have a clear plastic case on my iPhone. i just don't want the back to get scratched - cause they are so darn pretty!
15I just had to order a new phone because my old one was all scratched up and the screen was completely cracked and useless so... I probably should on this new one. lol
16I had to put the 3G in a case as it was a bit more slippery than my previous iPhone and I kept dropping it. A note about silicone cases- Be sure they fit well and you're not getting dirt trapped inside as that will damage the phone almost worse than having it naked.
17it was getting scratched up by my keys and other stuff in my bag..so it was time to invest in a case
18i didn't use a case, until one day i dropped my iphone in a parking lot and a car ran over it...it was a rough night. now i usually keep my baby safe in a case, i've had a couple serious drops where my hard case practically saved me a heart attack.
19Never used a case until now -with my iPhone 3G. If the 3G was aluminum, or I had the original iPhone, I wouldn't bother with a case. I really hope Apple reverts back to aluminum for future iPhones.
20Absolutely, I've got a silicon skin on my BlackBerry to protect it. When it falls I don't freak out. Even before I had a smartphone I usually had a case. It does add a little bit of my style to it.
21I have a silicon skin for my LG Dare. It's actually the first time I've used a case on a phone because it's my most expensive phone yet. I'm really bad about dropping phones and with the touch screen I figured it's better safe then sorry.

I keep it in there when it is in my purse so that the buttons/track ball don't get pushed and the screen doesn't get scratched. It works GREAT and is the perfect size. There's a little pocket inside I can keep my headset.
I use a case for my iPhone 3G... not worth damaging when (not if) it falls.

buys, my wacom is still in its plastic wrapping cause it works with it on, my ipod touch remained in its wrapping for a few days till i could get a screen protector and an silicone skin on it
& now i'm just waiting on the new speck cases for the new macbook pros to arrive in australia...
25yup, i've broke enough stuff to now have my bold wrapped up tight with armor, i am actually considering the otterbox.

27I just finally found a case for my 1st gen iPhone that isn't completely hideous. It makes me sad to cover up my phone since it's so pretty, but the guy at the store said dings from dropping it can void your warranty.
28I did use a hard case for my old Razr, but it was clunky and a pain to put back so I stopped using it. I've been using a silicone case since I got my new Blackberry this past December, but if I stop using it, I'll probably do it to use a new one to change the look of it up.
29i have a white 3g iphone, with a cool skin on it for 9 bucks on ebay
it even has a
little hole in the back which shows the apple on it! would never use the phone without it!

32yes, I use an incase white hard shell on my iPhone and thank goodness I do. I drop my phone like a dork and this case helps protect it.
