The follow-up to one of my favorite games of 2007, Mass Effect 2, is finally getting a "general" release date of early 2010 after being in development for quite some time. The first installment of Mass Effect blew me away with its graphics, detailed plot, and play options, similar to those in a Choose Your Own Adventure story. But of course, if you aren't as big of a fan as I am, you may only remember Mass Effect for its controversial "sex scene" which, in my opinion, was blown way out of proportion by news outlets that had never actually played the game. Moving on . . .

Mass Effect 2 will continue chapter one's drama, emotion, and action on your PC and Xbox 360 console. Check out the teaser trailer above (which kinda reminds me of Terminator or something) and tell me what you think. Did you play the first Mass Effect?

This is the best game news I have seen today. I am really excited especially since we can carry our current character over.
1lol yeah, I've seen worse on daytime TV than the "sex scene" they are alluding to. Double standards. The first Mass Effect was definitely an impresive game.
2I loved the first Mass Effect. Must have played through it a dozen times. Cant wait for the sequel. Its gonna be amazing.
