Nintendo DS
Not only can you take your DS everywhere with you, but most games that are hitting other consoles (like the Xbox, PS3, and Wii), will hit the DS as well,
but at a much lower price — about $20-$30 dollars or less. Plus, you're going to save anywhere from $50 — $400 when you buy a DS versus one of the other big, at home consoles.

I Love The New Design Of The DS. It's So Awesome. And It Has A Camera In It.
1I use the Instinct and like it better than the iPhone. I was just saying today how surprised I am at all the adults using Nintendo DS. I'm so used to my daughter and her friends playing with them. Portability is an issue though and the DS can keep you entertained while waiting at the doctor's office.
