The good news about the US launch of the Nintendo DSi is that it's going to cost you $10 less than previously thought, at $170. The bad news is, you're still going to have to wait till April 5 to get your hands on one! Although I'm in love with my DS, I'm saving up as we speak for Nintendo's newest handheld device.
I'm excited not only because of its two — count 'em, two — cameras (one on the outside, and one facing the user) that you can use to manipulate photos (kinda like Apple's Photobooth), but also because of its voice recorder and music player that allow you to record and play your own music from an SD card. Oh, and its wireless capabilities, giving you access to games on-the-go from the DSiWare store. It's obviously the best DS ever. Are you anxiously awaiting the DSi's arrival like me?

Eh, I'm fine with my DS Lite. I'd maybe consider it if it wasn't too expensive, and if I found someplace with a trade in program, but the cameras and such aren't really all that appealing to me.

5I'm happy with my DS lite and I don't see the need to upgrade. It's not that much of an upgrade, honestly... I have a digital camera. I have an iPod. Why do I need my DS to perform those functions for me?
6I just brought my DS lite 2 months ago, no way am I trading now. I think I like it better cause it came with Brain Age and a super chic case.
7That blue DSi is amazing! If something happens to my Ds Lite or I can get the DSi for a steal I'll switch...Otherwise I'll wait till my system bites the dust. The blue one is going to make it hard to stay
8I have my original ds phat in the pink. I was so thrilled to get that one and was upset in how they had the ds lite come out the year after I got it.
However, this dsi looks prettyyyyy impressive. I don't know if I will shell out for one though, my ds phat still works great for what I want which is the games. The camera is nice... depending on the megapixel... the photo editing sounds cool... music player pretty nifty... but... My phone has music and takes 2 mp photos... I am just not sure. I will have to see how it goes at launch... and of course check out my boyfriends... because he is determined to get one lol.
9I have a third hand original DS that I love. I think I'll wait until the DSi comes out in more colors before I switch it up, but I am excited about the new features.
10I stepped on my DS Lite and broke the top screen... I haven't been able to justify buying a new one, but if something DSi-specific catches my eye, I'll probably be buying one.
11the new ds doesn't even have capability for the old gba games. forget that. i'll keep my ds lite, thanks.
12i'll stick with my ds lite. don't need another music/picture device. besides, it's too much. i'm planning to buy the new psp when it comes out though. but only because i don't already have one.

15Wow, does no one want the DSi? If I had a DS Lite (it "got lost," hurm) I probably wouldn't want the DSi either...but I don't, so I do! I'm so excited to buy one fresh off the press!

21I was temped to get a DS before the holidays, but then I heard the rumors about the DSi so I delayed my purchase. I will definately be getting one of these.

23I agree, I love my ds, don't really need a camera or play music. I am hoping they come out with more games, other than the little kid ones. I have been playing the hidden object games, and kinda addicted to them, I have been waiting for over a year for the ultimate card game to come out for ds...

25Once you have it in your hands and you're playing with it, it's way cooler than you could imagine. If you don't upgrade, you're like the person with the "DS Phat" when the DS Lite came out--totally uncool.
26Ok, so I thought, well, I just want to get the green ds bundle, it's sooo cute. Then I found out how great the DSi is and I'm like - screw the Ds Lite, it's pretty but the DSi roxx! So I got it a few days ago (traded in my Ds lite for 70$ off at game stop) But I can't use it until my birthday (more than a month and ten days away.) It's Brutal. Btw, I got the blue... It's really pretty...
