An awesome detail about Android's App Market — which had recently announced paid apps in the store — has come to light: If you're not satisfied with an app you bought, you can return it within 24 hours of purchasing it.
Though simple, this customer service feature is fantastic; I would love to see a similar policy implemented for iTunes' App Store, since I tend to gravitate toward cheaper apps, particularly because I know that once I buy it, there's no going back.
I haven't wanted my money back for an app that I've paid for yet, because I tend to mull over the decision so carefully, reading every posted review, so I'm confident when I do pay. What about you? Ever regretted the purchase of a smartphone app?

I've never wanted to return an app until I got an email from iTunes saying that I purchased an app for $3.99 that I knew I never downloaded! Come to find out my husband downloaded it onto my phone, realized it was crap and deleted it! All for nothing. Yes, I wish I could have returned it after realizing that.
1It would be great to have a temp preview of it for a day before having to pay for it and later realizing you dont want it or need it at all!
2I would buy so many more apps if you could return it.....
3I agree with "Kelsee" I would buy more apps if that option was available.
4I wish T-mobile would get on board with this.
I wish we could preview them before purchase to see if I really liked them. I would buy more if I liked the app.
5I have an iPhone so I always try and read lots of reviews about an app before throwing down for it. Sometimes it just doesn't suit your personal needs though and that is depressing.
