I can honestly say I've been around the web browser block a few too many times. I've used just about everything, including Safari, Internet Explorer, Netscape and now predominately Firefox, which I absolutely love...most of the time. Back in the day early web browsers only supported simple versions of HTML (Netscape for example), whereas now they have become very sophisticated and user-friendly. Since I post a lot of downloads and applications for various browsers, it would be great to know what browser you use to surf the net. Leave your comments below and tell us why you love your browser.

I use both Firefox and Safari on my Mac and Firefox exclusively on my PC, so I'd say Firefox definitely gets used the most overall. Extensions (AdBlock!) and themes (Pimpzilla!!!!) is what gives Firefox its edge.
1Mostly I'm using Internet Explorer 7. I like the anti aliasing it has. Safari would also be a great choice but the Windows version still has a bug that annoys me. Firefox has lots of toolbars on top of it... minimizes my viewing space.
2i use firefox and i love it. I think it's much more user friendly.
3I agree with verily, although even on my mac i rarely use safari. I don't use safari on my PC either. Never used Netscape and won't touch IE with a ten foot pole. I am a Firefox user, although I would be open to alternatives like opera.
4Personally, I love Safari and wouldn't switch to another program. Occasionally, programs won't run on my mac, so I switch to Mozilla. But, overall I love the sleek look of Safari and it runs smoothly and is very user friendly on my mac.
5firefox
6firefox has less buggy problems and is more safe/user friendly...I'd say its better than IE 7.0..
7I love Firefox.
8It's the only thing that I use on my PC.
I have a favorite blog that I got to, that no longer shows on Firefox, violentacres.com , however, I prefer to read it from my google homepage then open IE.
When I'm at home, using my hubby's mac, it's Safari all the way baby...
IE
9Firefox rocks
IE's security and pop-up blocker pale in comparison, at least in my
experience
10Fire Fox is #1
11I use Firefox about 95% of the time, and IE 7.0 the rest, usually only if I bump into some misguided site that still isn't compatible with Firefox.
12I used to use Firefox then I discovered the new Netscape browser. It`s like Firefox only faster.
13I LOVE firefox
safe & friendly
14Firefox is my favorite but I also use Safari occasionally.
15I have both IE and Firefox, but I primarily stick to IE. Pages load faster with Firefox, but I don't like how it jumps down since most of what I do is sit and refresh on Neopets. I always miss what I'm trying to click because the page reloaded, then skipped down. Sounds lame, but it makes sense to me.
16I'm using IE7 now and I rather like it.
17Firefox, all the way.
18Firefox alll THE way. I have been using Firefox since it was Mozilla, and I love it! It's gone such a long way since the early days, and it's just improved since then!
19Opera.
20Internet Explorer
21Firefox at home, IE at work (no choice).
22firefox and ie
23Working in the IT department i use IE7 but i only do that at work at home i run Firefox only..
24i also use both safari and firefox, but mostly safari.
25Mostly IE, but sometimes Firefox. I don't really prefer one over the other, I'm just used to IE.
26Firefox 4lyf. unless of course i go mac, then safari it is.
27I use Firefox primarily and Safari for certain websites. I avoid IE.
28I use Maxthon2
and I think I'm the only one
29I just started using Firefox and definitely like it better than IE which was constantly crashing and pissing me off!
30I use Opera... its the big thing on my techie campus
31poor netscape?
32I am on IE7 and have had no problems.
33internet escape
34so easy
Firefox. It's just too awesome.
35firefox all the way, do ppl still use internet explorer or netscape anymore?lol
36I was using Camino exclusively until the beta of Safari came out. I like the drag drop tabs feature it has now. I really haven't had any problems with the Safari beta on my Mac or on XP (my XP is very generic with hardly anything installed).
37flock.
38Internet Explorer--it has never caused me any problems
39Netscape is heck of old school. I used that sh*t when I was in 6th grade.
40I use both Camino and Safari, but these days almost always Camino.
41I use Opera, but also Firefox and Safari. I can't stand Internet Explorer, but I can deal with Netscape (they had it in our elementary school when I was younger, so I'm very familiar with it).
42mostly firefox and sometimes Opera
43Internet Explorer , love the new one
44I use Firefox and i really love its amount of different functions and style !
45Firefox is superior to IE.
46If I'm on my Mac I use Safari, though.
Safari has bugs on localised windows, not when you are using English one. I am not using any Windoze computer so that would mean I use Safari all the way. But when I need to upload some text to my web site I must use FF because of the special characters such as čćžđš...
47I wonder if you guys see this characters now cause I am typing with safari
Opera!!
And the only reason it has such a small share of users is because it is never mentioned in articles like this! It came out before FireFox and does everything FireFox does plus more. It is free as well! It is also easier to customize and doesn't involve searching to find useful features (i.e. FF's add-ons).
If you like efficient searching with tabs and are sick of FF hogging all the memory - please try Opera.

48firefox ftw.
49Firefox. I tried it some time ago when IE would do nothing but crash and I haven't looked back. I don't know how I survied for so long without it. I
