If you ever watched MTV's Pop-Up Video, then you'll probably feel a little bit of excitement by knowing that YouTube has just added fun annotation functionality to its videos. When you are viewing a video you've uploaded, click on Menu, and you should see the annotation option (they are still rolling it out so not all users may have it yet). And if you find that the annotations start to get annoying, there's an easy way to get rid of them. Here's a vid to give you the gist of what I'm talking about.

Not to be contrary (esp. since I love both this YouTube feature and the show referenced), but:
Wasn't Pop-Up Video a VH-1 show? It was that kind of kitschy fun that MTV hasn't done for decades, if ever.
1Lady J9, it was on VH1. Viacom owns MTV and VH1, so I can see the confusion. ...I really miss that show! They took it off air because studies showed people couldn't watch tv for three minutes straight.
