My love affair with my Dave laptop table from Ikea is still going strong, but there are times when I want to use my laptop in bed, and a table isn't gonna cut it. The Comfort LapDesk is lightweight, features four-layer heat-shielding, and you can use the twelve-degree angled riser to position your laptop however you want. All that, and it's not to shabby to look at!

I have one that is very comfy and way way cheaper. It's a laptop crafting table/station I bought at Hobby Lobby. The underneath is like a bean bag so it forms to your leg shape so you can move your legs or sit in different positions and it stays balanced and stable.. It has a little built in tray for markers and such and it has a clip to hold papers and handles. It was no where near $40.
