Why should Cover Flow only exist electronically? The concept design for the iShelf is the ultimate old-school-goes-new-school CD storage and display solution.
I've pretty much gone completely digital with my music collection, but I do still have a few CDs knockin' around because of their sentimental value — probably the same amount that I'd need to fill up the iShelf and feel like I was looking at a real-life version of my iPod.
What do you think of the iShelf?

Leave it! Not a great use of space, and I think putting your CDs/DVDs on display like that is a bit too "college dorm."

2I love it! It is more an art display that a cd holder. Your 5 favorite cds say a lot about someone. I would totally rock this!
3Even if my tiny apartment didn't make it impractical, I just couldn't stand all the space it wastes.

5I think it's a nice idea, but it would be useless to me...I'd need about a million of those, haha. Maybe one day if I make my own personal CD room and just have those on shelves going around my walls
6Nah. I've gone digital. I don't CDs anymore. I don't even own that many DVDs anymore! Shelving CDs is so '90s.

14Leave it because I have tons of CD's ( I actually don't do digital music I prefer having something to hold on to;) and I don't keep my CD's in their cases anyway. I have a book for my CD's
15I don't think it's a practical way to store anything, but if you just want to show off your music, why not?
