I am addicted to geek jewelry. I don't always wear it, but I love shopping for it, taking photos of it, drooling over it and giving it to people as gifts. One of my good friends is moving to Europe to work with a semi-famous photographer and I thought it would be fun to get her a piece of conversational, geek chic jewelry as a going away present.
I love this creative and contemporary Forever Young Ring by designer Jacqueline Sanchez, but it's a little out of my price range. The rings are handcrafted and feature a black diamond set in 14kt yellow gold so they are a tad out of my price range. Luckily, I know many of you are web mavens and can help me find her something just as great.
Come geek out with me and search the web for great geek chic jewelry that costs less than $250, bookmark it and make sure you tag your finds with "geek jewelry." Then check back to geeksugar next week to see if I featured your Geek Gear!

I love Etsy! All of it is unique and fun!
1I can't seem to bookmark on my mac in Firefox OR Safari. Guess that's not very geeky of me.
Or
else I don't know how, because everytime I try, it fails! BUT there is A LOT of geek jewelry at www.uncommongoods.com
- everything from a necklace that doubles up as a magnifying glass to a Scrabble (yes, that's right, Scrabble) collection. *sigh*
2Ooooooooooh I've added a few for you! The Cat 5 bracelet is my fave LOL
3I love Mack - he's one of the designers selling stuff on Etsy. He makes a lot of cool, geeky jewelry and knitting accessories (especially stitch markers, which I love because I'm a knittah!). Check him out here: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=10849
