Next week, millions of people will be flocking to Washington DC to see Barack Obama be sworn in as our 44th President. Although tickets to get there are pricey (and maybe even sold out), you don't have to be at the inauguration to enjoy it.
News outlets will be streaming the event online, you can catch it live on Joost, and even Times Square (and San Francisco's own Civic Center) will be showing the action on jumbo trons. If that's not enough, movie theaters are selling tickets to the event so you can see it on the big screen!
How will you be watching the inauguration next week?

Lacoste
Adidas
APC
I either won't be watching it because I'll be at work. Or I'll watch it online (although my company frowns when you use streaming applications). Or we'll all be crowded around the tiny TV in the conference room.
1I'll be at work too.
2I live in walking distance, so I'm just heading over and watching in person. Since all the bridges from VA into DC are closed (I work and live in DC, but a lot of people come over from VA) it's an official holiday, since nobody will be able to get anywhere.
3DC.. one of the few times it's actually good to be here
4I'm very close to DC, but with all the traffic reroutes and extra drivers I might just work from home and watch the inauguration from my nice warm couch.
5I won't be watching it at all.
6I'll be off that day so I'll probably watch it on TV.
7I'll be off of work thanks to traffic and the impossibility of getting into the district... I'll be warm, cozy on my couch, and not watching it!
8I go to Georgetown, and we don't have school because of the Inauguration but hopefully the traffic shouldn't be as terrible up here. I feel like I should go down to the Mall for it, but I don't know if I can bring myself to face all the crowds even for such a historic event.
9Bethesda resident (right outside DC), but not sure if my husband and I are going to head downtown yet. I would love to see everything firsthand, but I hate crowds and I imagine we'll have a frustrating day and see a whole lot of nothing!
10Elizabeth, completely agree! We should have an inauguration/avoid the crowd party
11i will not be supporting this moron that ppl have selected who will do nothing but ruin this country morals and constitution this is not a celeb race pple its an election socialism is bad
12I live on the Hill and the view of the Capitol dome from my front yard is about as close to this mess as I'm willing to get. I'll be in front of my fireplace, and will maybe flip on the tv. I just want my city to get back to normal; hopefully I'll wake up on Wednesday and this circus will be gone.
13I work in a school. All of the faculty, staff and students will be watching it together. So excited!
14ill be at work, and most likely will not be able to watch it online but ill have it minimized on the screen at least...
15Cucucita... do you know what's also bad? Not using punctuation.
16cool OH! and lol running, I agree! how rude!
I'll be at work so I'll be sneaking peeks online and on the conference room tv at lunch.
17I won front seats to the Inauguration. I'll be really close to obama. I'm excited to be a part of this event in history.
18Nikki that's so exciting!
My husband and I toyed with the idea of going (we live in Balt) but I can't deal with crowds that big. Obama is coming to city hall here in Charm City, so we may go that and watch the inaguration on tv.
I REALLY want to go to an inaguartion BALL!!
19I'll be sitting in a classroom taking a midterm =[ but i' dvring the whole day of CNN and i'll be celebrating anywayy
20I would love to go to the real ball. I'm attending a fake one in Washington that night. We all bought gowns to wear, to make it a mock ball. I've never been in a crowd too big, so this will be a first. 4million+ people is crazy! It's also a first for flying. I live in Florida.
21I'm not watching it.
22i'm flying out to dc in a few days and plan to watch up close and personal baby!
23I deeply regret not taking the chance and buying tickets 3 months ago so I could fly to DC and stay with my mother in law before hand. But maybe I can go when it's time for his second term.
24I'll be watching at home - if I remember. :S
25I'm sure we'll have it streaming on our big ol' HD monitor at work, and hopefully we'll bring out some beer.
26I will be watching on a large screen [outside] on campus with a bunch of other people from the UC Berkeley community!
27I'm not watching it. I couldn't care less.
Is that bad?
28I live in Australia and I'm not sure if it'll be broadcast here. If it isn't I'll just watch it online. I've never seen one before. I wonder how long they usually go for.
29I'll be watching CNN from my home, ah the comforts of my sofa and blankie! lol
30I'll be watching at work. We have screens set up in the office and we'll be having a little office party.
