I continue to be astonished (and admittedly, a little impressed) when I hear of the insane amount of text messages that some people send.
There's Paige Horn, who sends 15,000 a month [1], and now another teen, Reina Hardesty, who sends about the same amount [2]. It sounds crazier when you break it down — that's about 484 per day! I know some people who don't even say 484 words a day.
I have to wonder if banning texting while driving [3] or even walking [4] would reduce the number for some, who depend on it for the majority of their daily communication.
As for me, depending on the day, I send anywhere between one to five texts daily.
What's your daily text count?
