For all my students, I hate to interrupt your Winter breaks to give you some school advice, but if I can make your upcoming semester a little less painful, then I've done my job.
My most hated task when I was in school was putting together bibliographies for papers. You had to know the format, all the book's info, where to indent. . . ugh. Thankfully, this generation gets BibMe, a website that will put together your bibliographies for free.
Input the book, magazine, film, even website, that you used to research your paper, and BibMe auto-fills all the info needed for the bibliography, in whatever format you need — MLA, APA, Chicago, or Turabian.

THANK YOU! This looks nice! I've been using Knite Cite ( http://www.calvin.edu/library/knightcite/index.php ) to do citations for years, but it does have some quirks/errors I think they are attempting to correct.
IDEA: Why don't you have a "Student" Sugar? A site with collected advice and info like this, "geek" advice, and other things...like "savvy" money tips about student loans...see? It'd be nice to have school tech posts, some school related news posts (especially concerning our hopes for the incoming U.S. Obama administration), and even student fashion and gear. Anything related to the students. Because the rest of Sugar does seem pretty geared toward those already older, already working, have their own place (not a shared apartment or dorm!)....
1Yeah, mentioning that, it'd be nice to get some more "shared space" decorating tips!
*By that, I meant it would be nice to have all those posts collected in one place. I do recognize you post a lot of these things already, but they're more difficult to sort from things geared towards those who work full-time (haha, yes, students work too, clarifying!!) or have more flexibility with their living spaces....
2I love this and completely agree with everything JaeB put forth
3I prefer easybib.
4One word: AWESOME!
Thanks Geek!
5just put it in my favorites!
6just put it in my favorites!
7omg of course we find this 6 months after i graduate college hahha. but i will be sending this along to all of my friends in grad school, how amazing!
8OMG THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! i am going to bookmark this right away!!!
9Sites like this are a LIFESAVER!!! I can't save that enough. After graduating with a B.A. in English I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to write a 30 page paper and then have to attempt to write a bibliography - ughhh. Teachers are also so picky and it is so tedious! Although I am not yet in grad school - I plan on going and I bookmarked this site for future reference. Anyone in school should if you want to make your life a lot easier and less frustrating - Thank you GeekSugar!
10JaeB - What a great idea - StudentSugar would be wonderful. I was thinking of the same thing as I posted my comment - Kudos to you!
