If you weren't standing in line for days to get your hands on the new iPhone 3G earlier this year, then you were probably patiently waiting for one of the other big headline-making releases including Blackberry's Storm and Bold, HTC's Touch Diamond, or possibly T-Mobile's G1.
Cell phones seemed to be the coveted tech item this year, as more and more useful and fun features get crammed into these little packages — which end up being your lifeline for everything from finding your way to a new restaurant to streaming Internet radio over your WiFi connection. Needless to say, I can't wait to see what new technology will come next in 2009!

none of the above but I'm also very excited to see what new and hopefully improved and cheaper phones 2009 brings.
1I can't wait to see what comes out this year - I'm gonna get a new phone in August, when I'm eligible for discounts again. Should be LOTS of good stuff out by then.
2i don't do that standing in line mania but i'm looking forward to what's new next year. i'll get it eventually but i don't have to be the first.
3I am not the stand in line for a phone type of gal.
4I think I'm finally going to breakdown and get either a Blackberry or Iphone. I need to do some max research on them tho. My work is all online stuff, and carrying my laptop everywhere I go is a pain. However, the reason I didn't want a "Crackberry" was exactly cuz of that! I'd be online waaaaay more than I already am... which is A LOT!
5I stood in line with my dad for hours for the iPhone. The first time I ever waited that long for something. It was so fun when I actually got the phone.
6Humans are dumb, standing in queue for a phone proves it.
