Wow: According to my iPhoto count, I took about 5,700 photos this year — that's almost 500 a month! And that's not counting photos I took for work. As much as I'm a photography buff, I am also pretty social, and feel the need to capture all events (and even when your friends might look at you like you're a paparazzo, they'll appreciate it later when they have the photos).
And I don't just have a hallway full of framed photos to show for it; my boyfriend and I always play a slideshow on our TV when we entertain, so our friends can enjoy the old shots. It's my favorite way to use the photos I took, and I never have to sort through event photos for the "best" ones (though I do that too with my framers).
What do you do with your photos?

Good idea, playing the on tv.
1I make a photo book at the end of every year as a gift for my in-laws. We also have a slide show on Apple TV that plays when ever we have music going. I just got a digital frame (it was a gift) and now that has a small selection of photos on it as well. I am going to need to frame some soon as I need to get some stuff up on my walls, it however is very rare that I actually print anything.
2I have been considering lately when I move out on my own I only wanted to display images on a digital frame and only hang ART in frames.
My mum is a pack rat when it comes to all things but especially never rotating pics in her frames around our house.
I guess like you my family is thankful for all the pics I snap. The rest of my family never really took very many pictures compared to my parents but in their eyes a cell phone pic works for them. Not so much for me! I need my SLR to make the pics more memorable!
3i email them out and share them with my family and friends but mostly i keep them stored on my passport and keep telling myself one day i'm going to print them out.
4I print the best ones, and share most others on the web. We have an old digital frame that we lost the charger for, but I always mean to fill it with photos someday
5I catalog them in my computer to look at periodically but I don't display them. This year we made a lot of photo albums and I still have a few more to go with our first anniversary going out, but that is rare. My pics are a lot of scenery and stuff I see for work, some friends hanging out, and some shooting I have done for clients. Too varied to display everything.
6I print a few on my Canon printer and put them in frames, put some on my iPod (so I can easily show off my newest little nephew and great-niece) and I back up vacation photos on CD after I have prints made.
7I keep them on a portable hard drive and make a slide show with the best ones mixed with videos on movie maker.
