Ooo la la. Feast your eyes on these extreme makeover Blackberry Pearls. According to the Boy Genius Report and his insider info, the very popular BlackBerry Pearl could soon be re-named the BlackBerry 8120. New and improved features are said to include more color choices like black, red, titanium, blue and gold (what about the pastels shown below?), a 2-megapixel camera, GPS, and WiFi. This new model may be available in stores as early as September, but as to which carrier will be picking it up, that is still unknown. 
Do you think these "new" features are worth trading your BlackBerry Pearl in for the rumored 8120? Is it just me or do you think that WiFi should be standard across all mobiles?

1WiFi should be standard and titanium is intriguing. I don't think I could ever own a BlackBerry though. I like my little flip phones. I have all the fun I need when I play with other people's.

5I would have to agree with partysugar for a pink one. The only problem is, I'm in love with flip phones and my pink razr works just fine. Although I do like the key pad feature on the pearl. ahh... phones... y do they have to have so many options.

12I'm actually looking at investing in a smart phone. I like the reported functionality of the iPhone but Blackberries are here and now as well as supported at my job. Decisions, decisions.
