How did I not think of this sooner? I've always got several annoying pieces of 2"x3" card stock in my bag with my doctor, dentist, or beauty appointments.
One day, I'll have the time and memory to input appointments into my calendar the second I make a new one, but until now, it's appointment card city for me.
There had to be a better way — and there is! The answer was also inside my bag. From now on, I'm taking photos with my iPhone's camera of all my appointment cards. From there, I'll either email them from my camera roll, or just leave them there, because unlike a piece of flimsy paper, I know where to find it!

Why not just add the appt to your phone calendar?
1I love my phone camera, whenever i see a gift idea for someone i snap a picture... so much better then writing it down
2I just type them in my Blackberry and let the receptionist keep the card. Way too much clutter.
3I generally like to type it in instead of the card as well. I do like this idea though. I've started using my iPhone to capture tons of things. Just the other day the hubby was playing Ratchet and Clank and he got a code on the screen that could be used with a different clank game. Instead of writing it down I snapped the photo and emailed him the pic for future reference. I felt pretty clever
4Why not use Evernote once you have taken the photo?
5I put everything in the Calendar on my iphone. But I use the camera a lot, I take photos while window shopping or snap away instead of jotting down things.
