If you're a lo-fi or vintage geek lover, then you probably already know what a Lomo camera is. The coveted plastic point and shoot has been around for ages, but it's recently been experiencing a renaissance of sorts. People from all over the world are getting to know the Lomo (
short for Lomography) all over again, and some for the very first time. These cameras may look cheap (they have a plastic lens, for Pete's sake), but they produce some pretty amazing photos. If you're jumping on the Lomo craze late and aren't sure which one to pick up, this slideshow will tell you the different features and attributes to each camera so you can pick the right model for you or a loved one. They make awesome Christmas gifts — I should know, I have a few on my own list!

1The oktomat is my favorite. I bought the whole huge crate when I was in art school, you get like 15 cameras. I still need to try out the underwater cam.

3Hey Geek where's the link to the article you did on using photoshop to make your digital photos look like they were taken with a Lomo? I really love these oh so much and could see owning them all. I just don't have the time for film these days :-/ maybe once the kids are grown I could start a new hobby

7I am in love with Lomography!!! I currently own a Holga, and would definitely recommend. It makes picture taking fun again!
