Although her MySpace account was hacked in the past, Lindsay Lohan is setting the record straight on her personal MySpace blog about her love for MySpace and her issues with Facebook.
"I signed onto Facebook with my new password because someone keeps hacking into my account, and when i typed my password and 'log in' name in, a red sentence came up saying, Account Disabled.
Your account has been disabled by an administrator. If you have any questions or concerns, you can visit our FAQ page here. Wow! I was in shock. I clicked on the link that they told me to click on and then to another link that said: my account may of been disabled by mistake. Once I got to that it gave a note saying why it was disabled which stated the note saying that it was disabled because they believe that I was a fake of myself."
Needless to say, Ms. Lohan was not impressed and expressed her anger for Facebook calling her a fake of herself and disabling her account. The method to her madness? She's hoping that the Facebook peeps will undisable her account so she can get back to doing what else but Facebooking!

4I had something similar happen — they were saying I wasn't me. Took a week to get the whole thing straightened out.

6Yeah Facebook goes a little overboard with the safety precautions...they disabled my account before (I still am not sure why) and it took forever to get things right.
I mean I'm happy to know Facebook is ultra secure...but damn you would think they would give some notice to the user's email before disabling your account

13Well, at least you know facebook is more secure but it does sound like they go a little over board. Maybe it's time for Lindsay to leave it be for a while and create a new account down the line with a slightly different name. Then being carefully who she adds. Just keeping it for close friends and such. There are other celebs on there and you wouldn't know it. They keep it well from people.

17I just wanted to make it known that celebs can have these things, they just have to put a little more effort into keeping it private by who they tell and such. You get the stupid hackers who thinks funny to invade their privacy.
I agree with MySpace showing more creativity. Facebook bores me. I only go on when I get a notice or update or something.

22Facebook is turning into myspace. I liked it better when it was just for college students and alum.
23It is still better. You don't have to shield from everyone not to get sketchy emails. I just stay off of public city networks.
24If I was a celeb I would just use a fake name on facebook, if I was REALLY that desperate to have it. But to be honest, if you're so busy, who has time for networking sites? I guess she doesn't have much to occupy herself with, as something else said....

I LOVE that Facebook is crazy about security, I've never been this confident with a website before when it comes to people being their real selves instead of just online identities.
