Marc Ecko is really establishing himself as the mainstream go-to for Star Wars apparel, after having introduced the Boba Fett Hoodie and Storm Trooper Hoodie.
And he's not content to stop there. There's a whole SW shop up — with one of my favorite new pieces being this Darth Vader T-Shirt with a tattoo-inspired design ($34). It's sort of Ed Hardy meets Star Wars, and the intersection is so fun and kitschy, I think I might be into it.
It's definitely a way I've never seen Luke's father — but is that a good or bad thing?

5Ehh. I'm not into Marc Ecko's style to beginwith and there's just too much going on in that shirt... I think it would be wearable if it only had Darth Vader in it. The work put into him is loud enough but the swirly words are just too much
But I have to say: purple and Darth Vader is an interesting combination, heehee.

8I don't think the CONCEPT is so bad... just the execution. I mean, the purple! It just looks wrong. Could have been done better.
9It's one of those shirts that looks wrong in all the right ways. I'd wear it, but I'm on a big purple kick right now.
10No way! What is with the sword through the helmet? Jedi's use Lightsabers. And even if they did use those kinds of swords, it's still ugly. I wouldn't buy this as a gag gift.
11This shirt is fug and way too "Ed Farty", but I did buy my hubby the Storm Trooper hoodie at 40% off during Marc Ecko's 1-day only birthday sale. They were described as sold out, but that if you wanted to wait for them to restock them, you could still order it at the sale price. It hasn't shipped yet, but he's excited.
12To be fair, that's the worst looking one of the bunch. Ecko makes a couple of different styles available at Macy's:
