Ever since I made the leap to Firefox, I can't imagine using any other web browser to navigate my way around the internet. Even considering the current controversy regarding the browser's growing pains I'm still hooked. I mean, who doesn't love colorful tabs and the idea of an open-source Internet browser? Anyways, Firefox has become an integral part of my daily routine, so if you're like me, you might just want to know these keyboard shortcuts to make your net surfing even more efficient!

Firefox is my personal favourite as well. It's a pity that not everything is compatible with it yet.
1I love Firefox!
2I love Firefox too! Thanks for the tips!
3Thanks for the tips. I only use Firefox and will definitely use the shortcuts.
4I fought for years before finally switching to Firefox and cannot imagine going to anything else, now.
5I use firefox on my mac, and there are a few more shortcuts that I use:
Instead of Ctrl (or command) + F, I just hit the / key, and it brings up the search field at the bottom of the window.
Also, if you're working in tabs, you can switch between them by hitting ctrl/cmmnd + the number of the tab you want to switch to.
6I switched a few years ago and LOVE it!
7These are great! Thank you! Like others, I waited a long time to switch to Firefox... what was I thinking?!
8that Cntrl+Home one is going to save me at work whenever my boss comes around!
9Cool.
10Thanks! Big Firefox fan here.
11Thanks for the Firefox tips! Love them!
12what *can't* firefox do??
13You can also use F6 to go to the address bar
14I love Firefox too
@ bugness: GREAT TIP! Thanks!!!
15ctrl + tab jumps through the open tabs. if you want to go to a specific one, press ctrl + 1 (or 2, or 3, or whatever number of tabs you have open) and you'll go straight to that tab from the present tab.
another handy tab shortcut is ctrl + pg up -or- pg dn; which will go to the tab directly left or right (respectively) of the present tab.
