The trend of naming cell phones something catchy is pretty great — it's so much easier than remembering some crazy combination of letters and numbers.

However, sometimes the cell phone companies get a little out of hand with the clever names, and the nom de plumes don't exactly sound like tech marvels (as is the case with Samsung's toiletry-sounding [1] names and LG's Hitchcockian [2] names).
